The Convention <strong>simplifies the process of legalization of foreign documents, providing for the direct recognition of documents apostilled <\/strong>by the competent authorities in the country of origin of the document.<\/p>\n<p>Canada deposited its instrument of accession to the Convention on May 12, 2023, a few months after the ratification by China, for which the Convention entered into force on November 7, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The entry into force of the Apostille Convention undoubtedly facilitates the use of official documents originating from the aforementioned jurisdiction, with a
