R&P Legal in the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Italy (CCIGI) on 17.4.2018 for a workshop on GDPR

On 17.4.2018 at the CCIGI, the Privacy & Data Protection team of R&P Legal will be engaged with some Japanese multinational companies in a workshop on the new GDPR Regulation 2016/679/EC, which is about to be applicable (25.5.2018).

After explaining the key elements and implications of the legislation, the real goal is to propose and to discuss – also in Japanese – the best compliance strategy – in anticipation of the possible adequacy decision by the EU Commission in order to facilitate the data flow between the EU and Japan, which is expected by the end of the year in the light of the joint declaration made by the Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, and the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker (6.7.2017).
