Nicola Berardi assists with the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts with a particular focus on the exploitation of intellectual property rights.

He has accrued specific experience in trademark protection, unfair competition and the organisation of promotional initiatives and prizes, particularly in sports and fast-moving consumer goods. He also operates in IT and new technology law.

He graduated cum laude from the University of Turin writing his thesis on innovative start-ups and joined RP Legal & Tax in 2016.

It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) no. 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (UE) no. 1025/2012.

The criteria of the BIA are distinct and independent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
