Antonio Di Ciommo assists clients on regulatory and compliance issues.

In particular, he assists Italian and foreign banks, financial intermediaries, EMIs, payment institutions, assets management companies, investment firms, trading venue operators, market infrastructure operators, insurance companies, insurance intermediaries and trust companies.

Antonio graduated in Law from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome on 2019 with a thesis on the regulation of SPACs (special purpose acquisition companies) under Italian laws. During the degree, he attended the course “Introduction to tax policy” at the London School of Economics.

In May 2025, he obtained a Ph.D. summa cum laude from University of Rome “Tor Vergata” defending a thesis on the regulation of traditional and DLT market infrastructures in light of the new regimes of dematerialisation and tokenisation of shares issued by Italian LLCs (in Italian, “società a responsabilità limitata”).

As part of his Ph.D. course, he spent a period as visiting Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institute in Luxembourg.

He is a junior member of ADDE (Associazione docenti di diritto dell’economia) and a member of AIDA Italia Giovani (Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances). He is enrolled in the Register of Lawyers kept by the Rome Bar Association (Ordine degli Avvocati di Roma) since 2023.

I criteri del BIA sono distinti e autonomi rispetto agli standard armonizzati risultanti dalle norme ISO o di altri organismi di normazione e non sono ratificati da parte di istituzioni pubbliche nazionali o europee.

“Certified B Corporation” is a trademark licensed by B Lab, a private non-profit organization, to companies like ours that have successfully completed the B Impact Assessment (“BIA”) and therefore meet the requirements set by B Lab for social and environmental performance,accountability, and transparency.

It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) no. 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (UE) no. 1025/2012.

The criteria of the BIA are distinct and independent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
