Roberto Tombolesi advises corporates, multinational groups,private and public entities on domestic and cross-border tax matters, with a focus on corporate and international taxation, M&A and corporate reorganisations, business valuations, and expert reports. He supports clients on complex transactional work and in high-stakes strategic decision-making.
Roberto has significant expertise in tax law, accounting standards and statutory and consolidated financial reporting.
He also advises companies and institutions in the adoption of ESG criteria into governance and business processes, measuringand reporting ESG performance, and is actively involved in promoting ESG culture through research projects and training initiatives.
He serves as statutory auditor (sindaco), independent auditor and non-executive director, and acts as court-appointed and party-appointed expert in the Civil and Criminal Courts of Rome.
Roberto holds academic appointments as assistant in Tax Law and Business Administration at Sapienza University of Rome and as professor in postgraduate masters of private universities.
He is the author of many articles in specialist journals and of academic and professional books on tax law, ESG and corporate reporting.
Roberto holds a degree in Economics and Business, awarded with honours, and a postgraduate Master in Tax Law from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. He has been admitted to practice as a chartered accountant since 1995.
