Marilara Coppola is an expert lawyer in data protection, as well as in Corporate MA, operating in the fields of e-commerce, personal data processing, and online services. Marilara works daily on privacy issues and, since 2018, has gained significant experience in the field, also in her role as a DPO (Data Protection Officer), assisting businesses and public administrations with assessments, compliance checks regarding personal data regulations, and in their relations with the Data Protection Authority. A member of the Rome Bar Association, she joined RPLT RP Legalitax in 2024. Marilara holds the following Master’s degrees:

  • Data Protection Officer and Privacy Expert at the University of Roma Tre;
  • Law of New Technologies and Legal Informatics at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, with a particular focus on IT and law for Public Administration.

She is the author of publications on the subject of personal data protection and conducts training on the subject.
