Marilara Coppola

Marilara Coppola is a data protection lawyer working in the fields of e-commerce, personal data processing and online services.
Marilara deals with privacy on a daily basis and has acquired – as of 2018 – significant experience in the field, including as DPO, assisting companies and public administrations in assessment activities, verification of compliance with data protection regulations, as well as in relations with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
A member of the Rome Bar Association, she joined RPLT RP Legalitax in 2024.
Marilara holds the following Master’s degrees:
- Data Protection Officer: Data Protection Officer and Privacy Expert at the University of Roma Tre;
- New Technology Law and Legal Informatics at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna with special focus on Information Technology and Law for Public Administration.
She is the author of publications on the subject of personal data protection and conducts training on the subject.
