Francesco primarily practices in the fields of energy law, commercial contracts, and civil and commercial litigation, assisting both Italian and international clients, with a particular focus on infrastructure funds, developers, and operators in the renewable energy sector.
He has solid experience in structuring and negotiating development agreements (co-development agreements), project transfer contracts (asset deals and share deals), EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and PPAs. He regularly assists operators with permitting processes and regulatory due diligence for photovoltaic, wind, agrivoltaic plants, and storage systems.
In litigation, he supports companies and investors in civil disputes and arbitration, including international matters, as well as in precautionary and urgent proceedings, such as seizures and possessory actions.
He has developed specific expertise in private international law, cross-border contracting, pre-contractual liability, and protection of trade secrets.
He is fluent in English and French, and has studied and worked in New York.
He is a member of Italia Solare ETS and provides pro bono support to several third-sector organizations engaged in the energy transition.
