Luca Egitto is an expert in intellectual and industrial property, IT, privacy and commercial contracts.

Luca mainly advises clients operating in Entertainment, Sports, IT and E-commerce industries. He specializes in technological innovation, branding, anti-counterfeiting and data protection.

He teaches law at the Fondazione Istituto Tecnico Superiore per le Tecnologie dell’Informazione in Turin and the Catholic University of Milan. He is a research fellow at the Information Society Law Center of the University of Milan.

Within his areas of expertise, Luca has published articles and contributions in the Journal of Information, Law and Technology (UK), World Sports Law Report (UK), Computer Law Review International (DE), Portale Ius Privacy Giuffrè (IT); Giurisprudenza Penale (IT), Il Sole 24 Ore, Wired, Cryptonomyst.

As a member of the International Trademark Association, he is part of INTA’s Anti-Counterfeit Committee, where he deals with blockchain applications in counterfeiting activities.

He is also a member of Itechlaw and IAPP, and holds certifications as a CIPP/E and Data Protection Officer UNI 11697:2017.

“Certified B Corporation” is a trademark licensed by B Lab, a private non-profit organization, to companies like ours that have successfully completed the B Impact Assessment (“BIA”) and therefore meet the requirements set by B Lab for social and environmental performance,accountability, and transparency.

It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) no. 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (UE) no. 1025/2012.

The criteria of the BIA are distinct and independent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
